Nightingale builds this beautifull 30wpc stereo integrated preamplifier/amplifier unit.  With four inputs, a tape loop,
and optional MM phono stage, this was one beautiful unit (the photo above does it no justice visually).   The  ADM-30 (6,4000,000 Lira) uses four E88CC for the preamplifier, two two E82CC for phase inversion, and eight 6L6 tubes for power output duties.  Auto-biasing of the tubes insure an easy, low maintenance for its owner.  There is no input/output negative feedback used, a stand-by function keeps the tube filaments heated while not in full use, and the circuitry is strictly pure dual mono (note the two power and two output transformers on the back on the chassis.
Here is the Shindo Western Electric 300B Limited Version mono power amplifier. Ken Shindo takes the classic Western Electric 300B circuitry and takes it a step further using his own unique, yet highly refined skills. Shindo's Western Electric 300B design accepts either the XLR or RCA input and is a very limited production piece. If you ever have the chance to buy one i'd humbly suggest grabbing it up as fast as you can.

Ok, so ya gotta see the larger picture to enjoy this one, yet it's a goodie in my humble opinion. This baby is offered by Masaho Uchida and is sold by Sun Audio in kit form! It features either the 2A3 or the 300B output tube (your choice). A 6SN7GT drives the output tubes which use none other then the highly acclaimed Tamura Corporation output transformers. This kit also includes oddities like coal resistors which were felt to subjectively sound better then others. Regardless of the uniqueness here, this is what i feel deserves tube lust!

The Wavelength Audio Napoleon is taken from most elegant of designs, which could only be fashioned by silver. Already we have seen that it's abilities far exceed that of others. A preview and review in Fi, SoundStage award for Best in Sound Winter 1997 CES.

As Jonathan Valin stated: One of the best SE amplifiers that I have ever heard, and I have heard some of the best.

The Wavelength Audio Cardinal XS single-ended amplifier. The amplifier that got the name Wavelength Audio in the press. There are too many reviews to list here, this is the simplest of amplifiers in that it only has three tubes. The standard edition has been around for many years before SE even became popular. The XS version sports increased amount of silver in the output transformer and is shipped with the WE300B or the VV300B.

The Wavelength Audio Duetto Stereo Single Ended amplifier comes about for the need for an entry level 300B based amplifier. But this does not mean that the amplifier does not come with a rich set of attributes.

Now in version number 2 we have increased the design to include 10 Black Gate capacitors in the power supply and increased supply for use with all types of 300B's.

After much development Wavelength Audio  have found a synergy of power and musical excellence in KIR. The 32W single ended amplifier using the VV52B output tube is by far one of the most elegant of designs.

The input is tied to a 6922 that is directly coupled to a 12B4 power triode that drives and interstage transformer to the VV52B. The frequency response is from 5Hz-40Khz -3dB

The Wavelength Audio Triton is going to be an interesting and much talked about product. That is because it comes in so many configurations. The Triton is available in a 2A3 and 300B configurations and also a standard and signature additon. In the signature edition the amplifier uses the same output transformer that is used in the Cardinal XS. Though the Triton-300B signature only yields 12.5W's, the standard edition is capable of 24W's. The Triton-2A3 has between 4-6W's of power in either configuration. The differences in parts and topology make this an amplifier that can yield the best sonics and power available from a single 300B/2A3 with interstage coupling as in the KIR.

The Wavelength Audio Cornet is more than a 300Bized Junior. An integrated based on parallel feed SE 300B. This 8W amplifier has 3 inputs and an impressive list of components that make it a must for any audiophile. The circuit combines a 6922 for each channel direct coupled cascaded design that is capacitor coupled to the 300B in self biased mode.

Above is the Ultrasound Otello amplifier priced at a low, low bargain basement retail of 1,000,000,000 Lira  (Audio Note Ongaku owners will need to upgrade to this baby).  Using ten PL519 tubes per channel, the folks at Ultrasound told me this is not a wattage amplifier but a amperage amplifier.  Specially, the output is eight   amps and no wattage rating was given though they did tell me the impedance of the output stage is 1Mohm!

Do-It-Yourself magazines are extremely popular in Italy. Fedeltà del Suono magazine is one example that also   had the best sound at the show!  Using a Type-45 based 1.5 watt tube amplifier (Ikarus Audio model Ercolino  amplifier made by Mr. Gianfranco Pellas using Tamura F-475 outputs Tamura choke), they had these Lowther  speakers really making some great music that was also capable of extreme volume levels!   The amplifier itself  is a uses a singly Type-45 (RCA) tube for output, 83 for rectification, 6SN7GTB, Elna Cerafine power  capacitors, and Jensen copper foils.  All i can say is that it was very dynamic, had amazing inner resolution,  macro/microdynamics, gorgeous midrange, and was able to decipher the intricate multi-happenings within the  music.  For those who say that small wattage system can't jam have never hear a properly done system as the  above was.  Alas, even some other reviewers i know can't understand the benefits of lower powered SE tube   amplifiers.  Wish they came to the Italian show.  (Sigh) oh well, some reviewers like living in their own  small-world bubble.

Seen here is the Master Sound 300B S.E. integrated amplifier.  Using two 300B tubes per channel, this stereo  unit produces a claimed 20wpc with .05% distortion.  Four inputs plus  a tape loop is offered, all speaker and RCA terminals are gold plated,  while the rounded wood side panels give this unit a great look.

This is a new amplifier called the Siegfried by David Berning. It's an OTL design with a new twist.   Mainly, it uses a regulated  resonant switching power supply to achieve extremely low hum  levels.  Also, the heaters are supplied with RF through a  center-tapped transformer.  There are actually two versions of this unit.  The 811-10 version ($5,750) and the 300B version ($6,950). Either way they both have amazing specifications and are technical  marvels.
ASUSA-Kit offers a wide variety of kits and pre-assembled   goodies.  Shown above is their model AQ1007 is a P-Pstereo amplifier using two 300B tubes per channel, Cerifine power caps, and two 6SN7 per channel as well.  producing 20 watts per channel the rated  frequency response is 20Hz - 25kHz.
