Burning in tubes, and other devices.

What is burn in, and why is it needed?

today I see people burn In mains cables, or treat Audio CDs with a demagnetizer, and do things some call the best thing they ever heard, and others disagree with that. Myself I am a rational thinker, and things which do not relate physics, chemistry or electronics, I leave that to people who feel more comfortable in that area of operation. So this part about burn in is down to earth, and just about how to do it.

So is burn in needed? The answer is, yes where it makes sense. Some electronic components simpkly need it, like: Electron tubes, Electrolytic capacitors, and transformers.
