These are boxes of 50pcs. Perfect quality sockets. Ceramic disc, gold plated. This is surplus form one of our customers, who stopped with his company, but these sockets are the same as current new production. This is clean and 100% good material. Appr. 700 pcs on stock. Shiny like new.

On Ebay you can see some Chinese, doing direct sales, and want 13 Euro for 10pcs, or 7 Euro for 4pcs, and these are NONE-GOLD plated. These we sell here, are gold plated, cost only less than a Euro, but you need to buy a full box of 50pcs.

Part2) NOS TUBES AVVT

I am fully selling off my AVVT stock. Some I kept ever since 1999 as collector items, some for the memories, and some as a reference, because at that time we initiated many ideas, which later were realized at Emissionlabs. It is a strange feeling selling the first 2A3 mesh tube we ever made as the first company. The first 2A3 we ever build at all, I still have it. At that time, there was only a Chinese 2A3, and enough NOS for everybody. What days that were! Today I need to more space here, and I have decided to sell off this collection. Some are listed without pictures, I had not so much time. If you want pictures of some, please just let me know. AVVT NOS tubes are very rare now. I mean real NOS. Not used NOS like on Ebay. The greater part is gone at the moment, still quite some interesting pieces are left. IT WILL NOT COME AGAIN LIKE THIS.

2A3-Mesh. Year of build appr. 1998

2A3-Mesh NOS.

This is not an AVVT tube, but I have no better place to add it. This is from the very first 2A3-Mesh series, made by the people who were abandoned by AVVT. There was no brand name yet.

This is a new, good and unused tube. A nice item, with 3 months guarantee. Test report can be made with it, please ask.

AVVT 8B-BLU

8B was a wonderful and versatile tube for experienced users. (Datasheet here) and it has a sweet and silky sound.

Also used as driver in the magnificent VAIC REFERENCE, the largest VAIC amplifier ever build.

You can replace a 45 with those tubes, but you need to make sure you have 5 Volt for the heater, and adjust the bias 11 Watt, and it will be close to 11 Watt itself. No guarantee on this of course. Keep it is mind as a possible option, for in case adapting the bias and heater voltage is not a secret to you.

8B works similar in 300B amplifiers, provided these have adjustable bias. When 8B is simply put into an auto bias 300B amplifier, they will initially just work. Gain and output signal are good, but they will bias around 20Watt dissipation, which is far too much. This should not ne tested longer than just a few seconds, because they are maximum 11Watt. But it will tell you then, what bias change you need. So adapt the auto bias accordingly, and it works. Likely these also work in the Lampizator.

AV8B-BLU (8B is a small PX25)

This "blu" was the word Mr. Vaic used for this special glass, so I'll leave that in. Extremely rare Blue glass version.

The best description for 8B is: A small PX25, but with 5V Heater, and UX4 base.

Beautiful, exclusive tubes. Less than 10 pairs were made ever with blue glass. If your want something rare and special, this is really it.

This is original cobalt glass, with transparent gold plating, giving a gold-purple reflection in daylight. Same as sunglasses with metal coating, and they have this colored mirror effect, but the coating is much thinner here, in order to still look inside. The look-through color of these tubes is dark blue

I have tried to display the colors correct. So no tricks with photos hop. Though I have to say they look in real life much nicer as on the pictures. They look magnificent. Like objects of art, and I think that is what they are indeed. The anodes at the inside are white mirrored.

AVVT 300B-C37

NOS in original box. From my own stock, it was never sold. I kept one as a reference, but I decided to sell all AVVT collector pieces, reference tubes, etc.

This was a one-time program. When these are sold, there will be no more. We had a box of AVVT tubes, with low emission. The overhaul was done at the EML factory, we are probably the only company able to do this.

Please note this: With tube overhaul, people sometimes think we have a way, to quickly slide in new heaters, and it works again. It is not quite like that. We need to break off the glass. Also the glass stem is lost. The original socket, we have to clean it. This has to be done for every little piece part, instead of taking it from stock. This is what makes tube overhaul 50% more expensive. The old grid, we must replace it. The mica discs in the top, and bottom, are cut into pieces, until the parts which we need fall out. Etc etc, But in the end, we have an AVVT tube again, re-build with it's own parts. The only difference you do see, is we use normal red-orange glowing EML filaments, vs the bright orange glowing AVVT filaments.

• Optics: Will be the almost the same, apart from the filament.
• Heaters: we use the darker glowing Emission Labs heaters, which have a multiple life time as the AVVT heaters.
• Tube hum: A lot lower as with AVVT, due to much better filaments of EML
• Glass shape: We use the AVVT ST glass shape.
• Guarantee: Three months
• Mechanical strength: Same high quality as EML. We replace also the soft AVVT side bars, by hard metal, same as EML. Risk on shipment damage is low as can be.
• EBAY NOS: Have you also noticed, on Ebay all AVVT tubes are alway NOS? But when people try to sell some unused AVVT tubes to us, they are NEVER like that. So ALL people who sell their tubes AVVT tubes Ebay, they NEVER used them since 30 years. Curious, isn't it?

This is an NOS tube. 302B is like a 300B, but it has 1.55A heater current instead if 1.2 of standard 300B.

For that, it has higher dissipation, estimated 15% more.

Looking for 6SN7 NOS? You can try with 7N7 instead! This tube is for sale in beautiful NOS quality. Only thing the socket is LOCTAL. 6SN7 and 7N7 are electrically INDENTICAL. datasheets are electrically identical, and I see even the same piece parts in there. Loctal sockets look and cost the same as octal sockets. So think out of the box, and buy a five pack 7N7 fore what you pay for one 6SN7. The socket is almost wired the same. The tube is rotated inside the bulk for one pin position and two pins are exchanged. So not a big difference. The amplifier chassis needs not be significantly changed when you modify your amp for 7N7.
