Hello
I have an interestage LL1660S-PP.
My first intention is to make a SET-300B-XLS.
Can I use this model?
With what drivers could you implement it?
Can I just a push-pull?
Can you give me schematics?
I'm looking at google and I can not find anything with this model LL-1660S-PP.

It's true, I know the interestage is PP.
With the right driver and its impedance ...
¿Is there not way to connect the transformer to drive a single 300B?
¿Do you know some scheme in PP that works well with this interestge?
¿Can you refer me to any website that has them?

Hallo,
du kannst in die Primärseite nur mit einem PP Signal reingehen ,
die Sekundärseite in Reihe schalten , also 16 und 21 verbinden
und das Signal an 15 -20 abnehmen , dann ist es pp zu se ,

ob das alles so sauber läuft weiss ich nicht, dass ist von vielen Faktoren abhängig ,

warum unbedingt eine interstage Schaltung , die Koppelkondensatoren sind heutzutage so gut ;)

I suppose the design of a PP transformer will be calculated in a way that in SET will not be optimal.
I understand that it will affect topics of continuous saturation that in PP is not given.
I guess, I do not know.

This is like asking for fuel economy of your car, in the backwards gear.

You should not put DC current through a PP transformer. If you do, it will saturate, and will stop being an inductance.

1660-PP can have only a very small amount of DC to allow for small off-balance of the driver tubes or transistors. That is in the range of a just few mA only, and not specified how much it is, and linearity is not nice if you try still. Because when you have specifications, you would take the SE version. These have nice linearity up to the specified DC current. Above that, they work too, but unspecified.
